Gestuz

Looking to create designs that emphasize the strength of women rather than overshadow, and with inspiration from earlier decades and a modern rock and roll woman, Gestuz creates pieces that allow for interpretation from the individual.

Rooted in the effortless ease of the Scandinavian design heritage, Gestuz simultaneously rebels against it by subtly and humorously disrupting and updating the classics.

Project

The project was to create Gestuz’ first physical universe. To create a physical concept for a online exclusive-brand, we had to really define the DNA of the brand.

Solution

The visual identity of the store is created with the aim of reinforcing and redefining the brand's DNA. We have clarified and emphasized what Gestuz really stands for both conceptually and physically.

Steel, marble, and dark wood mixed with yellow and holographic details are the main elements of this one of a kind store concept.

Calm outdoor scene with a light green building, white window, and door, viewed through a glass window.
Stack of black leather sofas against a dark wall.
Two modern wall-mounted light fixtures with metallic finishes and vertical white light tubes are on a plain wall.
A retail display with a dark red marble surface background, featuring a pastel-colored holographic card with the word 'GESTUZ' and a small beige tag with store information, style and color options, and a signature.
Several beige paper bags with tissue paper inside, with the brand name 'GESTUZ' printed on them, placed on a light surface.
Business cards on a maroon and black marble surface, one with the word 'GESTUZ' in gold and the other with contact information for Sigrid Lauritsen in red text.
