Transforming Silo Cph into an International Hospitality Experience
In the heart of Nordhavn, at the top of the iconic Silo building, a new hospitality concept has taken shape.
With a keen eye for design and an international mindset, the creative team at KIND, led by Angelina Josefsen and Thomas Jensen, has rebranded and redesigned the 17th and 18th floor into what now goes by Silo Cph. More than just a restaurant, Silo Cph is an ecosystem of experiences, seamlessly blending fine dining, casual encounters, and business settings under one unified identity.
Elevating Hospitality with an International Vision
The ambition behind Silo Cph was clear: to create an internationally oriented hospitality experience that remains accessible and welcoming. The space, now home to a collection of distinct yet interconnected sub-brands, includes a lunch restaurant, a dining bar, a cocktail bar, an evening restaurant, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
Each element of the concept has been carefully crafted to ensure a holistic experience where design, service, and atmosphere work in harmony: “Our goal was not to change everything but to optimize and stage the experience,” says Angelina Josefsen, Creative Director at KIND, and continues: “From menus to scents, from visual identity to spatial design, everything has been considered to form a cohesive and immersive universe.”
A Thoughtfully Designed Identity
KIND’s approach to the rebrand of Silo Cph extends beyond aesthetics. It is a carefully curated business structure that allows the different components of the space to thrive independently while remaining connected under the Silo Cph umbrella. The team has worked meticulously to ensure that each sub-brand feels distinct yet contributes to the overall experience.
Michael Rørth, Director of Silo Cph, reflects on the collaboration with enthusiasm: “Working with KIND has been an inspiring journey. Their ability to blend strategic thinking with creative execution has brought Silo Cph to life in a way that truly captures the spirit of the space. We are incredibly proud of what we have created together and look forward to building upon it as our journey continues.”
A Cohesive Experience from Day to Night
Whether guests visit for a business lunch, a casual drink, or a refined dining experience, Silo Cph ensures that every touchpoint is thoughtfully designed. The visual and sensory elements are not just decorative but are essential to shaping the atmosphere and guest journey.
Angelina Josefsen elaborates: “We wanted to create a space that resonates with international guests while still feeling welcoming and approachable. Every design decision, from the materials to the branding, has been made to reinforce that balance.”
With its reimagined identity and hospitality-driven approach, Silo Cph is set to become a beacon of elevated experiences in Copenhagen’s dining and event scene. Through their work, KIND has demonstrated how strategic design and storytelling can transform a space —not by starting from scratch, but by refining and enhancing what already exists.
As the sun sets over Nordhavn, the lights of Silo Cph flicker to life, inviting guests into a world where hospitality, design, and international ambition merge effortlessly.
