Kjær & Sommerfeldt

The journey of Kjær & Sommerfeldt began in 1875, founed by the duo of Charles Christian Kjær and Wilhelm Ferdinand Sommerfeldt. After being family-owned for nearly 100 years, Kjær & Sommerfeldt was acquired by Vingaarden A/S in Odense in 1973.
Today, Kjær & Sommerfeldt is a modern maestro, but has chosen to honor the traditions that define its essence. Not only does it hold the prestigious title of Royal Court Supplier, but it also boasts the distinction of being Copenhagen's oldest wine emporium. Achieving this has only been possible by preserving tradition, and staying ahead of the ever-evolving tempo of progress.

Project

By staying true to the old bank features and architectural details and combining these with modern and timeless interior, KIND Design Agency has created the framework for Kjær & Sommerfeldt's brand new wine universe.
